Houston ALP has two primary directives, one of which is promoting continuing education and providing opportunities for continuing education and professional development to its members and other legal support professionals in the Greater Houston area.

Each year the Continuing Education Committee coordinates a series of continuing education seminars. The BYOL & Learn 2010-2011 series will begin on July 21, 2010, with the remainder of the BYOL & Learn seminars being held on the second Tuesday of the months of August, October, December, February, and April. All sessions will be held at noon at the Fulbright Tower, 1301 McKinney, 51st Floor, Houston (Downtown), and provide 0.75 hr. of CLE (speakers to begin promptly at 12:10 p.m.).
